
Richard J. High is Chairman of the Executive Committee of John M. Corcoran and Company and serves as the President of John M. Corcoran & Company. Rick is responsible for developing the business strategy and direction of the Company’s acquisition, development, financing and asset management efforts. Prior to joining John M. Corcoran & Company in 1982 Rick was the Director of the Office of Housing and Neighborhood Development for New Haven, Connecticut. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Cincinnati and a Master of City and Regional Planning degree from Harvard University. He is a member of the Real Estate Finance Association and a Director of the National Multi-Housing Council.

Bob R. Ruzzo serves as the Executive Vice President—Property Management for John M. Corcoran & Company and is the President of Corcoran Management Company, Inc. Bob oversees property management operations, striving to meet profit objectives and drive growth within the division.
Bob brings a wealth of executive leadership experience from positions at MassHousing, the Massachusetts Turnpike Authority, and the Massachusetts Development Finance Agency. His background in law, specializing in affordable housing, land use, and environmental matters, adds a unique dimension to his role.
In his day-to-day, Bob is responsible for staffing, financial performance, and capital improvement planning. He also lends his expertise to the company's development and acquisitions team with property assessments and due diligence.
Bob, a graduate of Colby College with a law degree from Georgetown University, grew up in Dorchester and currently resides in Melrose with his family.

Nancy Gaudet joined JMC & Co in 1990. She directs the day to day operations at the properties and is responsible for staff development and training, strategic planning, and business partnerships. Nancy oversees brand identity for new acquisitions, and market lease ups for the company. She serves on the Board of Directors for NEAHMA and chairs the Committee of Energy and Sustainability. Nancy earned her bachelor’s degree from Fitchburg State and her Master’s Degree from Northeastern University. She holds a Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation, a National Affordable Housing Provider (NAHP) certification and a Certificate in Green Property Management (CGPM).

Cheryl Penn joined John M. Corcoran & Company as Senior Vice President of Asset Management in 2016 before transitioning to her current role as Chief Financial Officer. Cheryl is responsible for directing the financial affairs of the Company and its affiliates. She is a CPA and CGMA with an extensive background in accounting and finance, including positions with previous employers as Controller, Director of Finance, and Chief Financial Officer. She began her career in public accounting where she was an Audit Manager at Arthur Andersen. Cheryl holds a B.S. in Accounting and Computer Science from Boston College; The Carroll School of Management Honors Program.

Peter Mahoney joined John M. Corcoran & Company in 2007 beginning his career in a variety of roles ranging from Leasing Consultant to Property Manager for the Management arm of the company. In his current role as Director of Development Peter oversees the company’s development activities including site identification, permitting, design, and construction management. He is also involved in the asset management and existing asset acquisition aspects of the company’s activities. Peter received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brown University. He is a member of Real Estate Finance Association, Urban Land Institute and the National Housing & Rehabilitation Association.

Maura Murphy provides legal guidance on a wide range of matters including acquisitions and financings, contracts, human resources, tax and accounting. She joined JMC in 2022 after being a director and shareholder at the Boston law firm of Rackemann, Sawyer & Brewster, where she provided corporate, employment and tax advice to businesses and nonprofits, including John M. Corcoran Co., with whom she has worked for more than 20 years. She attended the College of the Holy Cross and earned her law degree at Harvard Law School.
Richard P. Robinson, CCIM joined John M. Corcoran & Company in 2019. His role is to identify, secure and capitalize multifamily investments and developments. Having spent 30 years in the New England apartment market, he worked previously as Executive Vice President at Nordblom Company in apartment development and acquisitions. Before Nordblom Richard served as Executive Director at Institutional Property Advisors, Marcus and Millichap and, prior to that, was a Partner at Apartment Realty Advisors. He continues to serve as Trustee or Director of several RE Trusts and companies. He is an Advisor on NMHC and member of Urban Land Institute and on the Affordable and Workforce Housing Council. Richard is also on the Board of Directors of the Boys and Girls Boston Clubs. Richard has a BA from Colby College in Economics and Administrative Science.

In this inaugural CPCO role, Keli is focused on all things that will support and sustain JMC as a great place to work. That means building strong HR infrastructure to include: culture, recruiting and talent acquisition, employee experience, talent retention, career path, career growth and development, and management training and development. She and her team are also focused on streamlining existing processes through the use of enabling HR technologies. Keli came to JMC from a role as Head of HR at WBUR, Boston’s NPR news station. Prior to that, she had a stint as an independent consultant and executive coach. And prior to that, she spent 20 years in HR at financial services companies, including Ernst & Young, Fidelity, and Citizens Bank. What she hopes to bring to this role is the experience of what is possible as she sets up the HR department—while still preserving JMC's company values and culture. Keli is a graduate of Wellesley College with an MS in Organizational Development from American University/National Training Laboratory for Applied Behavioral Science

Jamie Beaulieu oversees a substantial portfolio of apartments of multi-family housing including both family and elderly communities. He directs the management of operating budgets for twelve properties, meets with investors and property owners, monitors rental and maintenance operations, and ensures resident and customer satisfaction. A graduate of Bridgewater State College with a degree in Business Administration, Jamie earned his Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management in 2009. He has been a dedicated member of John M. Corcoran & Company since 2003.

Cynthia Buckley began her career with JMC & Co in 1990 as a Leasing Consultant and Corporate Marketing Specialist. She later managed market-rate, affordable and condominium communities throughout Massachusetts until 2003 when she became the company’s Director of Sales & Marketing. Cynthia develops marketing strategies for the company’s market-rate and affordable portfolio, new acquisitions and lease ups. She is certified in Yieldstar Revenue Management, holds the designation of Certified Professional of Occupancy from NEAHMA and serves on the Board of Directors for the Rental Housing Association of Greater Boston. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Colby College.

Christopher Butkovich is responsible for the operational oversight of a diverse group of multifamily assets. His extensive experience includes working with third party ownership groups and investors, and managing market, affordable, elderly, tax credit, 40(b) and retail spaces. With a portfolio of over 2,800 apartments, he oversees financial budgeting, capital improvements, property maintenance, contractor management, marketing and leasing, administrative and operational policies and procedures, investor reporting and partnership, resident relations, staff supervision, support and development, and all other day-to-day operations for his portfolio. He also participates in acquisition due diligence and asset disposition. With John M. Corcoran & Company since 2000, Christopher is a graduate of Merrimack College with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Administration concentrating in Finance. He is a Certified Property Manager (CPM) through the Institute of Real Estate Management.

Frank Corcoran joined John M. Corcoran & Company in 2002 with over twenty years of construction management experience. His primary role is to assess and recommend capital expenditure needs, including preparation of property-specific, five-year capital expenditure plans. Frank obtains and awards contractor bids for the work and ensures the work is of high quality, on time and within budget. He oversees vendor compliances with all applicable laws and regulations, specifically hazardous materials, insurance, and warranties. Frank is a graduate of Boston College and holds a builder’s license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

As a member of the JMC & Co team since 1998, Brian Gallagher has specialized in both market and affordable communities in the multi-family industry and has also supervised retail space. In supervising his 11 properties, Brian works to maintain strong relationships with property owners and investors, oversees property finances, supervises rental and maintenance operations, and promotes a high standard of living for his residents. Brian is a graduate of Boston College with a degree in Management. He earned his Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management.

Erik Lawrence joined JMC & Co in 2003. He is a graduate of Salem State College with a degree in Business Administration. He manages a portfolio consisting of market rate and affordable apartment communities, condominiums, and commercial spaces. Erik oversees the property operations and finances of 11 properties and works closely with owners, investors, and board members. He has earned the designations of Certified Professional of Occupancy from NEAHMA as well as Certified Property Manager (CPM) from IREM.

Jeanmarie O’Brien rejoined JMC & Co in 2017 as Director of Affordable Housing. Jeanmarie has extensive experience in the property management industry, overseeing multiple subsidy programs as property manager for Corcoran Jennison, John M. Corcoran & Company and more recently Regional Director for Trinity Management. Jeanmarie directs JMC & Co's Compliance Team in the preparation and implementation of Affirmative Fair Housing Marketing Plans and Tenant Selection Plans with the U. S. Department of Housing & Urban Development or State agencies. She oversees Low Income Housing Tax Credit, Section 8 project based, Tax Exempt Bond and MA 40B programs at the Company’s affordable and market-rate properties. Jeanmarie holds a BA degree from the University of Massachusetts Boston and the designations of Certified Property Manager (CPM) with the Institute of Real Estate Management and a Specialist of Housing Credit Management (SHCM) with the National Affordable Housing Management Association.

Gary Saltmarsh joined JMC & Co in 1978 working within the Maintenance Department at a CMC property in Weymouth. He has held various other maintenance related positions within JMC & Co and became the company’s Director of Maintenance Operations in 2003. Gary is responsible for the development of all maintenance policies and practices employed at JMC & Co managed properties. He plans emergency maintenance response, negotiates utility contracts, and establishes contractor/vendor specifications for purchases. He holds certifications in JMC & Co Training, Indoor Air Quality Assessments and Pool Operations.

Erik is responsible for JMC’s technology program and digital strategy. He looks to align business processes with technologies to create a competitive advantage for the business. Erik joined JMC in 2022 from Hobbs Brook Real Estate after completing a successful technology modernization effort across their commercial portfolio. He is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island and holds a Master’s degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology; Sloan School of Management.

Justin Young began his career with John M. Corcoran & Company in 1996. Since that time he has expanded his portfolio to include residential communities and commercial space. In working with a diverse multifamily portfolio featuring market-rate and affordable apartment communities, Justin has managed relations with third-party owners and investors, working closely with the Boston Housing Authority. He manages his properties' day-to-day rental and maintenance operations, fulfills financial and budgeting obligations, and promotes a safe, community atmosphere for all residents. A graduate of Assumption College, Justin earned his Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation in 2006.
