COPA Real Estate Investments acquires Webster Village
Boston, MA – December 3, 2024 – COPA Real Estate Investments, LLC (“COPA”) announced the acquisition of Webster Village, a luxury boutique apartment complex in the Boston South Shore submarket of Hanover, MA, in partnership with Long Wharf Capital (“LWC”). Completed in 2017, the property consists of 76 one- and two-bedroom units in two elevatored buildings with a full-time management team, fitness center, oversized resident club rooms with kitchen and game area, and well-appointed landscaped grounds. Following the acquisition, the property will be rebranded as Webster Woods, reflecting COPA’s private, boutique, and nature-focused investment strategy. According to COPA Principals Phillip Bakalchuk and Ed Olchowicz, “We are very excited to close on Webster Village as our second acquisition under the COPA umbrella. The South Shore is a submarket that we have long targeted for its top-rated schools, strong local demographics, commuter rail and highway access to Boston, and an abundance of nearby high-quality retail and professional services. We plan to introduce select common-area enhancements and premium unit upgrades over the coming months, including a reconfigured management office, outdoor kitchen and fire pit amenity, and a dog park. Additionally, our strategy contemplates rooftop solar installation to reduce the property’s carbon footprint and offset rising energy costs.” “Long Wharf Capital brings significant expertise and resources to this project, and COPA looks forward to working together on future developments to deliver quality investment results.” COPA Real Estate Investments, LLC was formed in 2021 as the successor to PhilMor Real Estate Investments, which operated over 1,300 multifamily units and 500,000 SF of self-storage. COPA’s principals have invested in over 11,000 apartment units and 735,000 SF of self-storage. The firm focuses on acquisition, development, renovation, and management of commercial real estate, with an emphasis on the multifamily sector. For more information, visit www.COPA.properties.
