JMC held its Fall Managers Meeting this week at the Four Points by Sheraton hotel in Wakefield. President Bob Ruzzo opened with remarks and a 2024 portfolio performance update.

Rick High, President of Development, introduced the Project Directors and highlighted Phase II of Union 346 in Somerville, the Beverly pipeline project, progress at The Devon at Weiss Farm, and DUO in Chelsea.

Senior Vice President Nancy Gaudet reviewed business development opportunities and recapped the year’s successful training programs.

Vice President Chris Butkovich and Controller Michelle Russo discussed collaboration between Accounting and property teams, communication best practices, and the company’s “10 C’s” curb appeal policy.

Vice President Brian Gallagher shared Vendor Shield updates, and Portfolio Directors Justin Young and Erik Lawrence presented property audit statistics.

DEI Director Sedruola Maruska led an implicit bias training, complete with interactive volunteer exercises to identify and mitigate bias.

The Compliance team—Jazmin Colon, Jim Krotz, and Jeanmarie O’Brien—hosted a live Kahoot! quiz on policy knowledge, followed by Vice President Jamie Beaulieu’s overview of contract compilation and snow removal agreements.

The Marketing department closed the day with a “Best of” video presentation, and Director of Sales and Marketing Cynthia Buckley announced our Meet the Mission award winners—25 recipients, including nine managers recognized for going above and beyond.
