JMC ATTENDS 2025 MAA EXPO

Insights & Networking with Industry Leaders at Boston’s Hynes Convention Center

43 members from JMC attended the annual MAA Expo event at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston this week. This is MAA's largest event of the year and is open to all job levels, making the day impactful for everyone who attends.

The morning began with networking, which led to the kickoff keynote speaker, Bozoma Saint John, who was the former CMO at Netflix and Endeavor, CBO at Uber, and Marketing Executive at Apple Music and PepsiCo and was named Forbes' “#1 Most Influential CMO”.

After the first keynote, the tradeshow floor opened up with over 160 booths for everyone to explore new vendors and reconnect with existing vendors. The afternoon followed with lunch and smaller breakout sessions.

There were 7 different breakout sessions for everyone to learn about new trends and insights in the industry. Several topics were covered including advertising, employee retention, performance reviews, self service technology, reputation management and renter behavior, cost effective ways to maximize HVAC performance, AI strategies for marketing, and insights to improve relationships with residents.

The afternoon closed with a final keynote session with secrets to resident satisfaction from prospects to residents.

JMC enjoys attending this event each year to bring back valuable information to enhance industry knowledge and opportunities to explore new vendors.
