MARKETING MEETING KICKS OFF 2025

The Marketing Department kicked off 2025 with a meeting at Kowloon restaurant last week for over 100 managers and leasing office staff all across the portfolio. The meeting covered a variety of topics and provided best practices for a number of marketing tools and platforms.

Andrea covered topics in leasing and sales with a strong focus on phone skills and shop reports. She also gave examples of recorded phone calls for everyone to critique together which was very beneficial.

The Marketing team also put together a leasing skills quiz on Kahoot with leasing training questions and the winner received a gift card.

Sebastian discussed Customer Relationship Management performance and best practices for lead management which was a great refresher for everyone and useful for new hires to learn more about the platform.

Grace went over utilizing ChatGPT as a writing tool to assist in email responses. She did a walk through with an example email to show everyone how to enhance responses.

Sebastian and Kelli also did walk through of ApartmentIQ which is a great leasing tool for market surveys, comparing competitive properties, concessions, historical data on pricing and availability, and recommendations for pricing.

Kelli spoke about new opportunities to grow at JMC from lease-ups to takeovers and even acquisitions. She also invited managers to participate in a panel to discuss and reflect on their experiences in JMC's recent lease-ups, takeovers, and acquisitions. This was very eye-opening for everyone as all members on the panel began as leasing consultants when they first started at JMC.

The Marketing team also put together another interactive quiz to reflect on changes from 2020 to 2024 which was interesting to see how much the department has changed and evolved over four years.

Cynthia closed out the meeting with what to watch for in Marketing for 2025 and concluded with a great lunch!
